Oblak
The Slovenian had not played an official game since April and did not have a save to make in the first half. Came up with a save on 19-year-old Samu Omorodion early in the second, but the striker got the better of him later in the match, equalizing on 62 minutes. 4.5
Llorente
A lackluster first half from a player who usually can win the endline and send crosses into the box. Granted, he was playing out of position at right wing-back, and he battled Carlos Neva and Gonzalo Villar throughout the match before netting a goal from a sharp finish in the 98th minute. 7

Azpilicueta
The veteran defender found channels to maneuver into with the ball, which added another element to the attack and gave him space to distribute the ball. He was a consistent option out wide for the offense and handled right wing-back capably after the hour. 7

Savić
Ended the match with four clearances and five interceptions, but was outmaneuvered on Samu’s equalizer. 3.5
Hermoso
Won four tackles with brawn and physicality, but he also got into some foul trouble, as he picked up up a yellow card while battling with Samu in the first half. Did well toeing the line on a yellow but his line-breaking passes weren’t as accurate as we are perhaps used to seeing. 4.5
Carrasco
Headlined the offense early on with his drives up the pitch and his quick feet when most of the team lacked sufficient movement and intensity. Lost the ball in the second half trying to dribble past Gonzalo Villar, resulting in Granada’s tying goal. The Belgian made up for it though, assisting Memphis Depay for the eventual winner. 6.5

Koke
Atlético Madrid’s captain was taken off in the seventh minute after suffering some suspected muscular discomfort. N/A
De Paul
Took responsibility and pulled the strings in the midfield after Koke’s early exit. His combinations with Antoine Griezmann created half-chances around Granada’s box. 6.5
Lemar
Defensively, the Frenchman did well to intercept and start attacking moves, but aside from a long-range effort early in the second half, he was quiet on the ball. 4
Griezmann
Great movement off the ball, finding space between Granada’s center-backs to exploit consistently. The striker collected three key passes before Saúl replaced him. 6
Morata

Offside calls, a yellow card, a missed sitter inside the first five minutes, and an impression of Diego Maradona’s “Hand of God” all in one package — along with the season’s first goal, scored with the final kick of the first half. A deflection off Jesús Vallejo’s shoulder bounced right to the Spaniard’s feet for a clinical finish. 6.5
Barrios
Came on for Koke minutes into the match and took advantage of the opportunity. Pressured the opponent well and understood where to be to pick up an interception. On the ball, Barrios was able to pass effectively and grew in confidence in the second half. 6
Memphis
Looked hungry coming on for Morata just before the hour. The Dutchman scored a wondergoal in the 67th minute, receiving the ball from Carrasco far outside the 18-yard-box and striking it into the top corner from 31 yards. 7.5

Söyüncü
The new signing from Leicester City put in a powerful performance in the backline, making robust challenges on the ball, including one that won possession back to start Memphis’ goal. 6.5
Saúl
Replaced Griezmann in the 77th minute. Added some more defensive presence, winning the ball back with two tackles, although he made a 93rd-minute giveaway that nearly became disastrous. 5
Correa
Had quite the spark up top, using his dribbling and quick movements to escape defenders. His efforts in the final third put the ball on a platter in the penalty area for Llorente’s goal. 6
