Atlético Madrid on Tuesday night secured a sixth Champions League quarterfinal appearance in nine years after beating Manchester United 1-0 (2-1 on aggregate) at Old Trafford. It is the first time Diego Simeone’s Atlético have eliminated a side containing Cristiano Ronaldo from the competition.
