Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is an admirer of Atletico Madrid midfielder Saúl Ñíguez, according to Mundo Deportivo.
As is mentioned in the Spanish publication’s report, Saúl is open to the idea of leaving the Wanda Metropolitano, though Atlético are thought to be keen on keeping him around.

The Spanish champions will be well aware, though, that if an offer of the necessary value is put on the table, it will be difficult to keep hold of Saúl, particularly as he is pushing for an exit.
It wouldn’t be unwise for Atlético to consider which interested parties have the required financial firepower to meet their demands for the midfielder. Chelsea are definitely one.
Mundo Deportivo report that Blues manager Tuchel’s interest could lead to Chelsea making an offer for the 26-year-old Saúl, though a possible fee is not mentioned in the report.
Atlético keen on wantaway Manchester City midfielder
Speculation has been high in the last few weeks as Bernardo Silva is currently unsettled with Manchester City, and many clubs are looking to snatch the talismanic player from Pep Guardiola.
According to a report from the Mirror, the Wanda Metropolitano is a possible destination for the Portuguese.

Bernardo’s agent Jorge Mendes is talking with Atlético Madrid about a possible transfer. Barcelona are also in the race as Silva nearly joined the Catalan giants last summer, but talks broke down.
City have slapped a £51.5m price on the player, which has left Barcelona to look elsewhere as they are not in good condition financially. It will be interesting to see if Atlético bids for the player or offers someone in exchange, and how Diego Simeone will tweak the current squad if Silva signs.
We will keep you posted on further updates regarding these two players and others.
