Goals None
Oblak
Good save from William Carvalho in the opening seconds, the only quality chance Real Betis had. 7
Savić
The mustachioed Montenegrin made a team-high four clearances, and his return to the starting 11 corresponded with Atlético Madrid’s first clean sheet and victory in nearly a month. 7.5

Giménez
Attacked the ball multiple times from set piece opportunities and made a critical block to begin the second half, keeping the score at 1-0. 7.5
Hermoso
Could have doubled Atlético’s first half lead from a corner, but couldn’t keep his shot down. Hermoso had the ball in the net again early in the second half before he was ruled offside. One of his more-secure defensive performances — when he’s locked in on this end, he among LaLiga’s best central defenders. 8
Trippier
Still too disconnected from the play in the opening half, though he is making himself noticed defensively — Sunday’s matchup against the pacy Álex Moreno was a tricky one, and he handled it well. 6

Carrasco
Looked much more inspired early, relishing a matchup with backup right-back Martín Montoya. He created chances for Antoine Griezmann and Rodrigo De Paul inside the first 15 minutes before he opened the scoring with a 27th-minute rocket off his left boot. The Belgian capped his excellent display — his best this season — with an 80th-minute assist for João Félix. 9.5
Koke
Misplaced a few passes in the first half, more composed in the second half. Wasn’t the captain’s finest day overall. 6
De Paul
Seems like the ball moves forward whenever De Paul is on it. His passing (91 percent and two chances created) breaks lines, he draws fouls (five on Sunday), and can run for hours on end (attempted five tackles). No wonder Diego Simeone wanted to bring him to Atlético for years. 9

Correa
Started a league game for the first time since Sept. 21 and provided the assist for Carrasco’s 27th-minute opener. He misplaced only one of his 27 passes and finished with four key passes. 8
Griezmann
Forced two saves from Claudio Bravo within the first 20 minutes, his second chance coming through good combination play with Correa. It was his corner delivery that Germán Pezzella headed into his own net just after the hour mark. 7
Suárez
Another one of those games where his goalscoring threat loomed large despite his physical limitations and his inability to take clean touches. Griezmann set him up for a chance on the hour, leading to the corner that doubled the lead. 4.5

Félix
Scored his first goal in eight months via an arrowed left-footed finish with 10 minutes left on the clock. 7
Cunha
Didn’t have much time to make a serious impact, but had another lively cameo. N/A
Herrera
Not on long enough to impact the game. N/A
Lodi
Took only one touch, not able to make an impact with the result virtually sealed upon his entrance. N/A
