Saúl Ñíguez to feature in Amazon Prime docu-series

The success of other streaming series has led to LaLiga getting in on the action.

Atlético Madrid star Saúl Ñíguez will star in an Amazon Prime series following six players and key figures within Spanish football.

The announcement from LaLiga said: “Amazon Prime Video today announced it has greenlit Six Dreams, a brand new sports docu-series which follows six individuals throughout their 2017-2018 season of LaLiga, the globally-followed Spanish football league that boasts star players and the world’s best clubs. The show is produced in collaboration with MEDIAPRO and LaLiga.”

VP of Prime Video in Europe Jay Marine, said: “We are really excited to bring Six Dreams to our Prime Video Members around the world and give them unique access to the daily lives of some of the men and women who make LaLiga one of the greatest and most popular football leagues on the planet.

“These men and women all have fascinating and unique stories and we are excited to work with LaLiga to bring these stories to our customers and football fans all over the world.”
