Athletic Bilbao will visit A Stadium Called Wanda on Sunday, where they’ll try to take points from in-form Atlético Madrid without their two best players.

Coach Kuko Ziganda will be without Aritz Aduriz and Raúl García, as the veteran attackers have run up five yellow cards each. Diego Simeone’s men should be buoyed by the absences as they go for a sixth win in the past seven league contests and a fifth straight win overall.

Simeone will likely roll out one of his strongest teams after he rotated a bit at Copenhagen on Thursday. Jan Oblak is recovered enough from an illness to regain his starting spot, while Diego Costa is expected to start after he injured his foot last week. Šime Vrsaljko and Yannick Carrasco could also return to the XI

Possible XI

Oblak; Vrsaljko, Giménez, Godín, Filipe Luís; Saúl, Gabi, Carrasco, Koke; Griezmann, Costa.

Predicted scoreline

Atlético 2-0 Athletic.
