Renato Gonçalves (@renatodsg) is a writer for SB Nation sites Barça Blaugranes and Bitter & Blue. He is also the guest on this edition of Colchonero Chat, in which he expresses shock and amazement at Sevilla’s dismantling of Atlético Madrid in the second leg of their Copa del Rey quarterfinal. Renato and Into the Calderón site manager Jeremy Beren (@JBBeren) wonder why on earth Saúl Ñíguez was playing left back on Tuesday, analyze the sorry state of Atlético’s defense and ponder whether Diego Simeone is still the right man for the job.

Berenato also discuss the team sitting above Atleti in the league table. Renato announces his pleasure with the Philippe Coutinho deal (this episode was recorded prior to his debut Thursday night) and (reluctantly) proclaims the league title finished. Will he come to regret those words? (Probably not.)

The guys also say goodbye to Javier Mascherano, talk about Jimmy Fallon and Eminem, discuss reverse jinxes and engage in a little Real Madrid schadenfreude.
