Ángel Correa’s older brother passes away in Argentina

Ángel Correa’s older brother, Luis Martínez, passed away in Argentina this weekend according to reports in the player’s native country.

The 25-year-old, per Mundo Deportivo, was last seen in the Las Flores neighbourhood of Rosario on Saturday. He was found dead on Sunday, according to Marca. The cause of death is yet to be made public.

Correa, 22, is from Rosario. He joined Atlético Madrid from San Lorenzo in 2014 and is in Argentina on holidays. Recently, he visited his former club’s training ground and met with former teammates as well during his visit.
