This long-awaited Colchonero Chat is timed perfectly, with Friday’s Champions League semifinal draw nearly upon us. Atlético Madrid are fresh off eliminating Leicester City and await the next challenger standing in the way of the European Cup. Barcelona will not be one of those teams, but a Barcelona writer has gladly hopped on the pod regardless.

Barça Blaugranes’ Renato Gonçalves (@renatodsg) is the guest on this edition of Colchonero Chat. He stops by to discuss a wide variety of subjects. Like layers of an onion, the guys Chat about the Catalans’ 3-0 aggregate loss to Juventus and what Renato would do if he were named Barça’s sporting director. After that, the focus shifts to Atlético Madrid’s 1-1 draw at Leicester City, the semifinal draw and which team Atlético should want (or not want) the most. From there, the podders run through some news, including Saúl Ñíguez urinating blood, Cesc Fàbregas rumors and avoiding discussion of El Clásico.
