The Champions League quarter-final game at the Vicente Calderon should be an interesting tactical battle

Atletico Madrid welcome Leicester City to the Vicente Calderon on Wednesday night and the visitors will find an Atleti side that is in their best vein of form of the entire season. Coming off a draw against Real Madrid, Diego Simeone’s side are unbeaten in seven with five wins amongst those positive results.

They welcome Nico Gaitán back into their squad but remain without Kevin Gameiro. Given Fernando Torres’ good form, this is not fatal news and with how well Angel Correa played during his cameo at the Bernabeu on Saturday, Atletico should be well covered.

Atletico Madrid squad: Oblak, Moreira, Godín, Filipe, Savic, Lucas, Juanfran, Giménez, Koke, Saúl, Carrasco, Gabi, Cerci, Thomas, Gaitán, Griezmann, Fernando Torres y Correa.

Atletico also some extra prep for the game.
