Diego Godin should be set to do battle with his Uruguayan teammate, Luis Suarez, as he returned to training after a fortnight out with a thigh injury on Friday.
Atletico’s leader at the back missed games against Sporting Gijon in the league and against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League but will return to the starting line-up on Barcelona barring any issues that happen between Friday and Sunday when the game takes place.

Atletico conceded three goals in the two games that Diego Godin missed but they won both. They have looked increasingly erratic at times at the back this season but with the 31-year-old back there, it certainly does help the overall look of the defence.
Jan Oblak, who was included in the matchday squad against Bayer for the first time since December, could return to the starting position in place of Miguel Angel Moya. Moya, who has been very good in place of Oblak, is also likely to leave the club in the summer with news that Axel Werner will return to Atletico in the summer after a loan spell at Boca Juniors.
