Robert Walker (@Trauppin) is a staff writer at Into the Calderón. He is the guest on this edition of Colchonero Chat, which analyzes Atlético Madrid's 4-2 win over Bayer Leverkusen in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16. Atlético's recent goal explosion has the podders purring, and the goals scored Tuesday - including Saúl Ñíguez' wonderful curler, Antoine Griezmann's record-breaker, Mattress Maker of the Match Kévin Gameiro's penalty and Fernando Torres' fourth in five games - lend themselves to several talking points. The duo wonders if los rojiblancos really have found themselves - in spite of a less-robust defense than in years past - by embracing the chaos.

Barcelona visit Estadio Vicente Calderón on Sunday in what could be a pivotal weekend of league play. An Atlético win would take the team to within three points of wobbly Barça, and while Robert exudes confidence about victory and renewed top three hopes, Jeremy is not so sure.
