Rob Walker (@rwalk03) is a staff writer at Into the Calderón and the guest on this edition of Colchonero Chat, wherein he talks about Tennessee-style barbecue and Atlético Madrid’s 2-1 win over Real Sociedad on Saturday.

After a dismal first half, Atlético came out flying in the second half and won it late courtesy of an Antoine Griezmann goal, which the podders discuss in reference to his improving form. Rob and Into the Calderón site manager Jeremy Beren (@JBBeren) also analyze how Koke and Saúl Ñíguez took control in the second half and discuss a weekend in which Atleti were the only team in the top four to win. They wonder if there’s a league title race and ponder what role los colchoneros may play in it.

The guys also preview Atlético’s visit to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday and pore over the latest Šime Vrsaljko and Vitolo news.
