Renato Gonçalves (@renatodsg) is a writer for SB Nation’s Barça Blaugranes and the guest on this edition of Colchonero Chat, in which he marvels at Fernando Torres pacing Atlético Madrid’s Copa del Rey win over Elche while simultaneously discussing how to fix a stale, uninteresting competition — case in point, Barcelona’s 8-0 aggregate trouncing of Murcia in the Round of 32. Renato and Into the Calderón site manager Jeremy Beren (@JBBeren) draw inspiration from the English and Brazilian models to come up with a new system and save this once-glorious competition.

Jeremy and Renato also talk LaLiga, where Valencia held Barça last weekend and Atlético host Real Sociedad this weekend. Renato also talks about Adele, "Friends" and the pronunciation of VAR before taking a personality test, which he enjoys for a while before finding out he’s the Brazilian Britney Spears.
