Qarabag attacker plays days after death of his daughter, fans reveal banner in support

The daughter of Wilde Donald Guerrier passed away on the 14th of October and he took to social media to thank the fans

Qarabag attacker Wilde Donald Guerrier played against Atlético Madrid on Wednesday night just days after his daughter, Miah, passed away. The Haitian international took to social media after the game in which he came on as a substitute in the second half to thank his teammates and the fans at what is a difficult time for him and his family.

His Instagram post says:

“Well done boys about this result step by step we gonna built the success #Thank you for all support and good messages about the pass away of my my daughter Miah❤️ I love you all “Ordu❤️”

The Qarabag fans also had a banner in the stand that says ‘Rest In Peace Miah. Ordu Supports You’ in a sign of solidarity with their player and his family.

The 28-year-old also posted a photo of his little daughter, who was born in April 2016.
