Theo Hernandez continues to amass admirers. The latest in the growing list is reportedly are Marseille, who have made the player a priority, according to L'Equipe.

The left-back is making waves in the north of Spain with Alaves this year with his endless attacking and solid defending and appears to be one of the next big names to emerge from an Atletico squad that has had no shortage of them in recent times.

Manchester City are also said to be very keen on signing the player but he has a contract until 2021 and a release clause of €24 million.

As is the case with much of what is happening around the Vicente Calderon this season, a lot depends on the future of Diego Simeone. The Argentine holds plenty of clout at the club and if he does not want to sell the player, he will not be sold.

If Simeone happens to leave this summer, which he has assured he will not, then Hernandez might assess his options and opt for a move away when the going is still good.

Either way, Hernandez is soon to be a star and his future will be bright regardless.
