Luciano Vietto has joined up with Sevilla and will begin to train with the team following a one-year loan deal that could be made permanent if the club decide to shell out €20 million for him next summer.
The Argentine was previously linked with a move to Barcelona and reports suggested he was keen on a move to La Liga’s champions but Sevilla remained in the race and have captured the 22-year-old for a loan fee of €3 million.
The club posted a photo of the striker with his new teammates after a successful medical with the Europa League winners.

Despite struggling in his first and only year at Atletico, many believe the for Villarreal man has what it takes to become a top class striker giving how well he played for his former club during the 2014-15 campaign in which he scored 20 goals.
Kevin Gameiro has been linked with a move in the other direction and with Matias Kranevitter already moving to the Jorge Sampaoli-led team, it appears as though relations between the two clubs are in a good state.
