Atletico Madrid have submitted a €20 million for full-back Fabinho according to Gianluca di Marzio. The player was linked with Napoli but according to the reports, Atletico blew Napoli's €10 million offer out of the water. The 22-year-old right-back will fill in as backup to Juanfran and replace him when that bridge has to be crossed.

Theo Hernandez is also set to join his brother Lucas as a part of Atletico Madrid's first team squad next season. The 18-year-old has impressed as part of Atletico Madrid's B team and will fight with his brother for game-time next season according to further reports.

Guilherme Siqueira is likely to move on once the last 12 months of his 18-month loan spell at Valencia has ended and Filipe Luis needs back-up. Both Lucas and Theo can play left-back and centre-back and Simeone is trying to improve the squad's depth ahead of another hectic season in three competitions.

Jesus Gamez has been the versatile incumbent when Filipe Luis can not play but he is not a natural left-back and Atletico are in need of someone that offers a little more and while Gamez has been good when called upon, Simeone is looking for that extra bit of talent to carry them through games when his best XI need resting.

Other news, same report

In the same report, Atletico are "gathering information" on 21-year-old AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen. He was reportedly in London to discuss a deal with Tottenham but it seems Atletico and Spurs will be doing battle over his signature. Both sides are in need of a striker this summer.
