Is this Atletico’s second strip for the 2016-17 season?

As football fans around the world search fervently for leaked football kits in the hope of catching a glimpse, Mundo Deportivo are having a crack at trying to figure out what the second jersey will look like.

What we do know is that it will be black and gold and a tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Vicente Calderon. It looks set to be the clubs last year at the stadium with plans for a new one at La Peineta in full flow and, hopefully, going smoothly.

This one in particular was from Ignacio Cassinelli’s account and looks pretty smart. It is actually the kind of jersey you might wear to a formal event in that is black, stylish and has an Atletico badge on it. Intimidating too, right?

With fixtures to be announced in the middle of July and many of the nationl teams that Atletico players play on eliminated, attention is turning back to club football and when you start to see jerseys being leaked, you know it’s time to get excited.
