Antoine Griezmann's agent has dropped the worst bombshell imaginable on Atletico Madrid fans ahead of the Champions League final on Saturday. According to quotes reported by L'Equipe, Griezmann is listening to offers from other clubs that "offer real interest and attraction."
Eric Olhats, Griezmann's adviser, insists that his client has not signed a new deal at Atletico and hinted at a possible exit.
"Contrary to certain claims announcing that Antoine at Atletico next season will be the case without fail, nothing has been decided or endorsed," Olhats told L'Equipe.
"We are currently listening to different clubs who also offer real interest and attraction."
Griezmann has been sensational yet again this season for Atletico and Olhats was referring to rumours that he had signed a new deal with the club that may have been more about adding money to his release clause than anything else, which would ensure Atletico receive maximum compensation for letting their talisman go if that bridge has to be crossed.
Griezmann is a player in demand and this sounds like he is keeping his options open ahead of Euro 2016 - a tournament he is set to star in. Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea have all ben mentioned as possible destinations.
