Diego Godín and Yannick Carrasco trained with their Atletico Madrid teammates today and have both been cleared to play on Tuesday at the Allianz Arena. Both player missed the visit of Bayern Munich last Wednesday but give Diego Simeone added options ahead of his team selection for the second leg.

Jose Gimenez and Stefan Savic joined forces to keep Bayern at bay during the first leg but there is little doubt that Godin will start if he is 100% on Tuesday. In a game that Atletico are likely to be defending for a lot of, Godin's presence will calm Atletico along

Carrasco, on the other hand, might be played on the left hand side as an outlet for Atletico on the break. He has been excellent when given chances this years and his signing has been one of the most promising of the season when you consider Luciano Vietto's poor form. Carrasco's speed could be a factor on Tuesday night whether he starts or comes off the bench.

Even if neither player starts, it gives Simeone more options and will prove a headache for Pep Guardiola when trying to peer into Simeone's brain ahead of the crucial tie at the Allianz Arena.

Meanwhile, Tiago Mendes continues to train with the squad as he recovers from his leg break but will not be ready for Tuesday's game. Aside from that, Atletico have a full squad with no other injury concerns ahead of the most important game of their season.
