Two extremely rare things happened at the weekend. Barcelona were beaten at the Camp Nou by Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid scored five goals against Real Betis. Coming off two such dramatic games, there has been an added sense of intrigue building towards Tuesday night's clash of La Liga's top two.
Atletico have overcome an injury crisis with Diego Godin, Stefan Savic and Yannick Ferreira Carrasco returning to full training on Monday morning. Barcelona had their 39-game unbeaten streak snapped by Real Madrid but given the travel commitments of Luis Suarez, Neymar and Lionel Messi during their international break many are putting the defeat down to fatigue. They will need to be rested and ready for a resurgent Atletico's visit to the Camp Nou on Tuesday night.
