Atletico may be getting ready to face off with Bayern Munich for their final Champions League group game, but it’s their opponents’ rivals who Antoine Griezmann is impressed by the most. The Frenchman was speaking recently about Borussia Dortmund’s top two players in Ousmane Dembele and Pierre- Emerick Aubameyang. Judging by his comments, he believes the German club are blessed by having such talents at their disposal.

“I prefer games with many goals. BVB always plays spectacularly. Last season, my brother visited the game at the invitation of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in Dortmund. He was simply thrilled: with the mood, the stadium and the game,” Griezmann told Reviersport via Goal.com, as he also commented, "As soon as a Borussia game comes on TV, I look at it, because with this team I have the guarantee that it will not be boring.”

For Griezmann, it must be pleasing to see a fellow countryman performing at the level Dembele finds himself at. The summer signing from Rennes has already made his senior international debut for his nation, and the 19-year-old is bound to play a key part in the future.

“Ous is a very, very big talent; I have already noticed this with a few training sessions with the French national team,” Griezmann said of the youngster, “Technically, he is very strong. If he continues to work hard and remain humble, he will become a very big player.”

Dortmund and Atletico have often found themselves compared due to their giant-killing achievements over the past few years. Both teams managed to displace the European giants of Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real from the top of their domestic leagues despite containing a lesser budget and superstar talent. Having avoided each other throughout recent Champions League campaigns, this may be the year the highly-anticipated clash finally occurs.
