17-year-old Nicolas Schiappacasse in Atletico Madrid’s squad to play Osasuna

Simeone brings some new faces in after worst start in Liga under him

Atletico play Osasuna in a game tomorrow that they simply have to win. The biggest news within his team squad is that 17-year-old Nicolas Schiapacasse is in the squad. His situation is a tricky one and we wrote about it here.

Fernando Torres and Filipe Luis miss out through injury as Simeone is forced to rejig his attack given how El Nino struggled against Real Madrid last weekend in the league.

He has also included Sime Vrsaljko but AS believe Angel Correa and Lucas Hernandez will start along with Gimenez with either Tiago or Saul partnering Gabi in midfield.

Simeone says it will be a difficult match with high intensity and maybe he is opting for the more defensive, solid base to his midfield and this will be the template for away teams that need to pick up points such as Osasuna.

They have lost their first game 2-0 to Leganes with Joaquin Caparros as the coach and sit 19th in the league table with just Granada below them.
