Antoine Griezmann has played down speculation linking him to a Chelsea move recently. It seems Greizmann has gotten caught up in a love, or hate, triangle involving Jose Mourinho and Diego Costa.

There has been a lot of speculation regarding Costa's future at Stamford Bridge and given the fact that the Spanish striker's most potent years were in a rojiblanco jersey, the first port of call when conjuring up transfer speculation is to link the narky hitman with his former club.

Griezmann has been a revelation since joining from Real Sociedad in the summer of 2014. He has started this campaign in a similar fashion to last scoring 11 in 19 appearances and looks set to continue in his goalscoring form.

He made sure to address the recent speculation in an interview with Canal Football Club, saying, "I do not feel the need to play in Ligue 1, nor in the Premier League or in Serie A. I am in Spain, I'm happy. I like my life here, and my football. I like it all."

This will come as music to Atletico fans' ears but given the exposure the Frenchman is garnering and with a major international tournament on the horizon, and one that France are expected to have a huge say in, the speculation is only going to grow. So, brace yourselves!
